MealSync separates source material from destination data. Photos, menus, receipts, labels, descriptions, and voice transcripts help create the estimate; they are not included in the Google Health request.

The current MealSync request contains the meal interval, meal type, serving amount, food display name, calories, total carbohydrate, total fat, and protein.
- Review the title and meal time.
- Edit calories and macros.
- Approve before sync.
Connection and deletion
Google sign-in establishes the MealSync account. Google Health permission is requested separately for nutrition writes. Disconnecting removes the stored connection; deleting a synced MealSync meal attempts to delete the matching external record when its record ID is available.
The data boundary
MealSync sends the reviewed nutrition record—not your source photo, receipt, menu, label, or voice content—to Google Health.
